Save Instead of Lotto puts two numbers side by side: what weekly lottery tickets cost and won against real Korean draws, and what the same weekly amount would have become in a savings account at a rate you set. It does not tell you which is right.

Two Numbers, Side by Side
Five thousand won a week is 260,000 a year and 1.3 million over five years. What that bought is calculable — run it against the real draws. What the same money would have become in a savings account is calculable too. This app puts both on one screen.
It does not argue for either side. A lottery ticket is entertainment, and spending money on entertainment is fine. It is just better to know the price.
