About the Game
Janggi is Korean chess. Command your chariots, cannons, horses and elephants, use the diagonal lines inside the palaces, and checkmate the enemy general before yours falls.
- Every piece moves its own way — chariot, cannon, horse, elephant, guard and soldier — and tapping a piece shows where it can go
- Check and bikjang (facing generals) rules — a bikjang left unbroken ends in a draw — with a points decision after 200 moves (Han gets 1.5 bonus points, so points never tie)
- Four starting setups for your horses and elephants
- Hangul labels option: show Korean letters instead of Chinese characters on the pieces
- Three computer levels: Easy, Normal and Hard
- Two players can take turns on one device
- Play as Cho (moves first), Han (moves second) or random
- Undo a move
- Win-loss record for each level
- Built-in how-to-play guide
- Plays in 9 languages
It is free to play and contains ads.
