Info

Quick Go — Baduk 9×9 to 19×19 — Play Go on 9×9, 13×13 or 19×19 against 3 AI levels, or with a friend on one phone. Free to play on Google Play, with ads. 9 languages.

About the Game

Take turns placing black and white stones, surround territory and capture your opponent’s stones. When both players pass in a row, mark the dead stones and count territory plus komi — the higher score wins.

If you are new to Go, start on the small 9×9 board. Games are short, so you pick up how scoring works quickly, and you can move up to 13×13 and 19×19 when you are ready.

How to Play

  • Tap an empty point to place a stone. On larger boards, a zoom preview and tap-twice-to-play keep you from misplacing stones
  • Fill every liberty of an enemy group to capture it. Suicide moves and immediate ko recaptures are not allowed
  • After both players pass, the scoring step begins: tap stones to mark them dead, confirm, and the score table shows territory, prisoners and komi
  • Estimate shows who is ahead — 2 free per game, then watch a short video for more

Features

  • Three board sizes: 9×9 for beginners, 13×13 and 19×19
  • Vs Computer: Easy, Normal and Hard — Hard thinks longer, and Play now cuts the wait short
  • Play Black, White or a random color, or 2 players on the same device
  • Handicap stones and komi of 6.5 or 0.5
  • Pass, resign, undo, last-move marker and star points
  • Win/loss/draw record for each board size and level
  • A how-to-play guide with tips; plays in 9 languages

It is free to play and contains ads.
